Our courses were developed by our founder, Bruce May, based on his years of work in marketing and digital media. From a senior executive working in broadband media, to his work consulting and teaching marketing best practices, his work co-authoring Building a Performance Improvement System with his business partner Richard Laramy, and his experience as an author, speaker, corporate trainer, and producer in film and media, Bruce brings his knowledge and insights from a broad range of business experience to all his workshops and consulting services.
Bruce has worked as a senior executive in broadband technology, engaging in business development and strategic planning; he has worked as a consultant and business educator, working with clients on every aspect of the customer journey; and he continues to work on the creative side, writing books and contributing to content marketing campaigns for his clients. His primary focus now is consulting and customizing training programs for his clients.

We begin by teaching small business owners and their employees best practices in marketing and sales across six universal business categories. Three have a professional sales force. The other three have minimal sales support. Each of these six categories has its own key marketing characteristics and challenges. These factors taken together determine the basic strategic approach for designing and implementing campaigns. Our Small Business Training takes you through the Customer Journey as it plays out in each of these categories and offers recommendations for each category.
If you are interested in learning how to design and implement marketing campaigns that fit your business, consider taking our one day workshop and learn the best practices in marketing today. You will learn how to apply them to your own business. We will even give you specific ideas for getting started using one or more of our 15 Basic Campaigns, already designed and ready to be implemented. We will also provide advice for finding a digital agency that can provide you with the digital advertising services you need to implement your own campaigns so you don't have to do all the work. If you are just starting a business and don't yet have an advertising budget we will show you how to get started with free advertising solutions, including social media and other local resources available to you.
